Veterinary Assistant Position

Northside Veterinary Hospital is an AAHA accredited, progressive, small animal hospital located in Hillsdale, MI. We have a great opportunity for a full-time or part-time veterinary assistant to join our fantastic team. We have an excellent reputation in our community for providing high quality veterinary care to our clients and their furry family members. As a locally owned, three doctor practice, we pride ourselves on personal customer service, getting to know our clients and individualizing our patient’s needs.

Facilities/services include: digital radiography, ultrasound, IDEXX full in-house lab, digital dental radiography, endoscopy, chemotherapy, platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapy and laser therapy (photobiomodulation).

Starting pay range is $15-18 based on experience.

• Taking patient histories

• Low stress handling of pets

• Helping prepare pets for surgery

• Communicating with clients about their pets

• Caring for patients in our hospital

• Sterilize equipment and general cleaning

• Restrain animals during examinations or vaccinations

• Maintaining hospital cleanliness
