Tammie joined the Northside team in 2021. She is a 2016 Baker College Graduate, with a degree in Veterinary Technology, and has been Fear Free Certified since 2017. Tammie lives in Jackson with her husband and children, Â three dogs; Abernathy, Clarence, and Earl; and one cat, Fitz. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with family and watching movies.Â
Gracie graduated from Baker College in 2025 with a degree in Veterinary Technology and is Fear Free Certified. She recently moved to the area with her boyfriend and their German Shepherd; Captain, a cat named Killer, and a flock of chickens, ducks, and guinea fowl. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time outdoors fishing and hunting, as well as baking at home.Â
Ashley started working at Northside through an on-the-job training program from the Branch Area Career Center in 2001. After graduating from Quincy High School she began working full time. She continues to live in Quincy with her husband and two sons. Ashley has 6 pets. Sven, Darwin, Loki and Banner are her dogs. Marlin and Leo are her cats. She enjoys spending time with family, outdoor activities and crafting. Ashley says, "After all these years with Northside, it's my second home."Â
Betsy has been a veterinary assistant at NVH for 21 years. She has a true passion for helping people and animals. She is Fear-Free certified and certified as a canine behavioral consultant through the CCPDT. She tries her best to make sure every client feels heard, welcomed, and cared for when they enter the clinic. In her spare time, Betsy enjoys gardening, continuing her education, hiking, and spending time with her husband, Dustin, and her five dogs—Levi, Lucifer, Little Foot, Chomper, and Trudy.
Eve started working at Northside in 2017 and lives in Hudson with her husband and two little boys. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Siena Heights University and after college worked as a zookeeper in Arkansas and Texas. She has been working as a veterinary assistant for four years. Eve enjoys camping in the U.P., family time, off roading and photography. She has a dog Maeve; a cat Sprouty; and two guinea pigs, Oreo and Browni.
Marissa started working at Northside in June 2020 and is a graduate of Homer Schools. She has one dog, Jaxon, and two cats, Jasper and Peanut. She enjoys spending time with her family and outdoor activities. Marissa loves working at Northside as she can help animals and truly see a difference after caring for them.
Jessica joined the Northside team in 2022. She's married with two rambunctious boys. She have 2 cats, Loki & Steve and a dog named Daisy. In her free time she likes to spend time with her family and garden.Â
Grace graduated Reading High School in May of 2025, Youngest of two daughters, still residing with my parents, with two dogs, Jake and Tucker. Started at Northside Vet Hospital as a On-the-Job Training student in September of 2024. Became a Veterinary Assistant in August of 2025.Â
Jayde began working at Northside in 2021. In her free time, she loves spending time outdoors and playing with all of her animals. She and her husband have three dogs- Buck, Kash, and Lainey Jo; one cat named Binx; two rabbits named Gus and Penelope; and a flock of 11 chickens. When she is not tending to her animals, she enjoys relaxing and spending quality time with her family.

Kayela joined Northside in 2020. Her hobbies are CrossFit and spending time with her five kids. She has three dogs; Luna, Zero, and Scout, a cat O'Malley and five rabbits. Her kids now have two horses they recently 'stole' from their Aunt, Dancer and Sugar.

Kayela took on a new position at NVH in 2023 as a Veterinary Assistant.
Magen started working at Northside March of 2021. She has one sassy dog, Renly, and one sweet orange cat, Gregor. She loves reading, painting, going to concerts, being with friends, and spending time with her husband. She also loves running and biking in her free time. She will be greeting you with a smile and treats for your fur babies when you bring them into Northside.Â
I started working at Northside in 2024. I have always enjoyed growing up around animals, and now I have the opportunity to work with animals. Previously, I worked 13 years as a school bus driver, 8 years in general education, and 5 years as a secretary/ bus driver at LISD with special needs students. I live in Hudson with my husband and mother. We have 7 cats; Loki, McCoy, Groot, Merlin, Jynx, Vinnie, and Rogue. We have a ferret named Henry. I have 2 children of my own and 2 stepchildren, and 8 grandchildren. In my free time, I enjoy watching movies and sports. I enjoy spending time with my family.Â
