Dr. Playford grew up in Hillsdale, and currently resides in Horton with her husband Bill and toddler son Andrew. She graduated from Hillsdale High School in 1999, and from Hillsdale College in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She attended Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine, and graduated in May 2007. Dr. Playford began working at Northside Veterinary Hospital as a veterinary assistant in February 1999, and has been working part-time in different capacities at NVH ever since. She shares her home with two dogs, “Stretch” and “Murphy”, and 3 cats, “Gigi”, “Oscar” and “Gustav”. She enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
