Dr. Wood is a Hillsdale native, graduating from Hillsdale High School in 1981. He attended Lake Superior State University for 2 years before transferring to Michigan State University in 1983. He received his B.S. in medical technology in 1986 from MSU and began attending the College of Veterinary Medicine the fall of 1986 and graduated in 1990 with his D.V.M. degree. Dr. Wood has practiced in Hillsdale since June of 1990 and opened his own practice here at Northside in January 1995.
He resides in Hillsdale with his wife, two children, three cats (Prancer, Digit, Tabby), and two dogs (Mudge and Henry). Dr. Wood enjoys spending time with his family, vacations, working outdoors and sports of all types.
